Mantec Maritime Services was founded 28th of December 1998 by its Managing Director Marcel P. Mandemaker who has been a sea going Marine Engineer for 8 years. After the period of sailing sales and service experience was learned with several major repair- and supply companies. Though these companies are large and of good quality they lack service mindedness and flexibility, a necessity in shipping. Mantec Maritime Services B.V. has created a group of suppliers in new spares, repairs and reconditioning who, together, form a strong force in the maritime market today. Repairs Service on board the ships Mantec Marine Services is one of the most reliable, inventive and creative ship repair companies in Rotterdam. The technical staff comprises service engineers, certified welders, pipe fitters and electricians. We respond immediately to your urgent needs, without any delay. Steel- and engine work for sea going vessels is our main activity, partly done in our workshops or whilst loading, discharging or in dry dock. This can be in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Flushing, Antwerp, Hamburg or indeed elsewhere in the world. We can also carry out repairs during the voyage. Complete repair work is carried out, such als welding and burning, for example, in damage repairs but also overhauling, balancing and re aligning of various types of engines is done. Heat exchanger repair, restoration and regasketing. Full heat exchanger repair and restoration saves time and money. Leaking heat exchangers are often unnecessarily renewed or completely retubed. A high cost, time consuming operation. Whereas most of these heat exchangers can simply be restored to its original state. Fast, at much lower costs and often without the need of remove it from its casing. We offer you a 24 hours service package comprising of: inlet tube repair with thinwalled metalinserts full refurbishment retubing drilling out of blocked tube by hydrodrill ultrasonic and chemical cleaning supply of replacement coolers on specification hydrotesting Thin walled metal inserts Thin walled metal inserts extend the life of your heat exchangers by at least another five years. 85% of all leakages are caused by tube inlet erosion/corrosion. These problems usually occur in the first 6 to 8 inches of the tube, where the circulation water is most turbulent. By placing specially developed, thin walled alloy inserts of about 8 inches in length and expanding these to fit precisely in the parent tube, the tube is restored to its original form and strength. This repair job can be carried out on site and only takes a few hours. Now your heat exchanger is ready for less than half the price of retubing or replacement. After repair the heat exchanger is tested for leakages by hydro-testing. The following three methods can be used: vacuum testing on the tube sheet joint per tube hydrotesting per tube; hydrotesting overall from the shell side Regasketing and cleaning of plate heat exchangers Regasketing and cleaning of plate heat exchangers We clean, check and adjust every type of plate heat exchanger. Supported by three manufacturing factories we are able to provide a full range of piston rings measuring from 10 to 1.700 mm. Our piston rings are machined on the latest generation of in-house designed cam turning machines. We have been the suppliers of rings for piston rod glands for so many years, we may easily surmise we wrote the book on the subject. Our delivery program includes all parts for the stuffing boxes. We currently supply high quality ring parts to shipowners, shipmanagers and stockists worldwide. ABB turbochargers parts supply We supply all kinds of spare parts suitable for ABB turbochargers. Due to the fact that we have access to several O.E.M related suppliers, we dare say that we are able to offer you the solution to all your turbocharger related problems.
