In 1993, Alfa Laval Middle East Ltd., was established in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates to serve as the regional headquarters in the Middle East. The move into the region is part of Alfa Laval s strategy to establish local presence, bringing commercial and technical support functions closer to our customers. Other regional set-ups managed from Dubai are, Alfa Laval Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, Alfa Laval Pakistan in Lahore, Alfa Laval Iran in Tehran and Alfa Laval Egypt in Cairo. In 1995 a service workshop was opened in Jeddah for the reconditioning and regasketting of plate heat exchangers. This is just one example of the many services offered locally to the Middle East region. The whole region covered from the regional headquarters encompasses 18 countries. The coverage of this large geographical area is accomplished through our five branch offices and a network of agents and distributors.
