The fleet does consist of Bulker Units between 3.000 and 12.000 tdw (geared and gearless), Containervessels up to 800 TEU, Tweendecker and Heavy Lift vessels with 80 to gear. In the last 7 years, Phoenix Reederei GmbH and Krey Schiffahrts GmbH have been projected, contracted and built a number of 25 newbuildings at Shipyards in Turkey, China, Spain, Slovakia, Poland and the Netherlands. The Phoenix Reederei GmbH and the Krey Schiffahrts GmbH are situated in Leer, Blinke 6 and presently contracting 25 employees on shore basis, managing the whole fleet on technical and administrative side with modern communication and computing equipment. An associated Crewing Company is taking care of around 800 crewmembers, directly employed on Phoenix and Krey vessels. A further associated office in Nicosia, Cyprus, with around 6 employees has been installed 3 years ago, to strengthen the operative side of technical department and crewing matters in cooperation with a joint venture Crewing company in Klaipeda. Since beginning of 2000 the charter management of the Phoenix and Krey vessels is organized by an associated Company, Messrs. Ems ConBulk Befrachtungs GmbH, also situated in Leer, who is contracting the vessels in the free markets and on time charter basis.
