Jotun Australia Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jotun Paints, one of the world's leading manufacturers of protective coatings for the marine and heavy duty industries. Jotun Australia also markets Jotun's Powder Coatings division functional and decorative powder coating products. Jotun's head office and research and development departments are situated in Sandefjord Norway with manufacturing units, sales and technical service departments in over 50 countries worldwide. Jotun Australia commenced operations in its own right in Australia in 1990 and has, in a short period of time, become a leading supplier of protective coatings in both the marine and heavy duty industries. We believe that Jotun's success in the Australian market is due primarily to our philosophy of working together with our customers to provide solutions to corrosion problems and Jotun's ability to provide the latest in leading edge coatings technology. Our local manufacturing unit is situated in Brooklyn Victoria where we maintain both N.A.T.A. approved and G.P.C. recognised laboratories and technical service departments. Our local research and development department is primarily concerned with development of local products and the introduction of new Global technology. Jotun Australia maintain offices and distribution centres in Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Sydney, Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide, Launceston, Traralgon and Auckland. We also maintain a close working relationship with our growing network of independent distributors who are strategically placed in major industrial centres where fast, reliable service and sound technical assistance are required. Jotun produces Powder Coatings which are known worldwide by our trade name of Corro-Coat with a wide colour spectrum.
