The Group was formed and the trademark established in 1997 under the management of Coldstore & Transport Group AS, Sortland, Norway. CTG - The company. Coldstore & Transport Group AS was established in 1985 under the name Vesteralen Shipping AS. In 1997 the company changed name to CTG as. The company has a yearly turnover of approx 25 MNOK. The company is responsible for the administration and marketing of the CTG-group and also for all booking of cargo on the CTG-vessels. We are situated in Sortland in the middle of the major fishing areas in Norway. Our Market is World Wide and our goal is to offer cost-effective solutions for our clients. CTG - Shipping. Our shipping division is operating more than 10 specialized reefer vessels of different sizes. CTG-Shipping is responsible for booking of all the vessels within CTG. We can therefore offer vessels suited for the various seasons and demands. Our operation is divided into two main areas: Liner and Spot operations. Half of our vessels are used to operate the different lines to and from Norway to UK and European continent, the other half are used in the Spot market. Our main operation area in the Spot market is the Baltic. Through various cooperation agreements with other shipping lines we can offer freight for destinations all over the world. CTG - Forwarding Our forwarding department is manned with experienced persons who are specialized in import and export of fish. Our computer system ensures our customers the best possible service. CTG - Agency Our Agency department is manned with skilled persons, We have long experience in clearing of vessels and agreements with suppliers of services and supply needed for operation of vessels.
