C. Steinweg Lianyungang Representative Office Lianyungang port is an important port for the import of nonferrous metal concentrates (mostly Alumina) and the export of metals (Aluminium and Zinc). The concentrates are shipped in bulk, but need to be delivered inland in 1 MT big bags. When such cargo requires bonded warehousing in Lianyungang, we can offer those services. More active for us is the export of metals, where we offer both bonded and non-bonded warehousing, and freight related services such as chartering vessels to our LME Warehouse in Singapore. Lianyungang is an excellent natural harbour and the eastern terminal of the Rotterdam - Lianyungang Land Bridge. As such it could gain in importance over the coming years Warehousing One of our core activities is warehousing of a variety of commodities. Many of our warehouses are approved for the storage of commodities traded on the 'London Metal Exchange' (LME), 'London Finance Futures and Options Exchange' (LIFFE), the 'Shanghai Futures Exchange' (ShFE), the 'Singapore Commodity Exchange'(Sicom) and by the 'Minor Metals Trade Association' (MMTA), whereas others are specifically suited for storage of specific commodities, such as temperature/humidity controlled spaces, high security vaults etc. Our facilities are fully recognized/accepted by major international banks and insurance companies. Our warehouse-receipts/warrants and releases are internationally accepted to facilitate financing and insurance of stocks held in our custody. LME approved warehouses are located in Antwerp, Baltimore, Barcelona, Bilbao, Busan, Dubai, Flushing, Genoa, Gwangyang, Hamburg, Leghorn, New Orleans, Rotterdam, Singapore, Trieste, Yokohama. MMTA approved warehouses in Antwerp, Duisburg, Rotterdam. LIFFE approved warehouses in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Flushing, Hamburg, Rotterdam. ShFE approved warehouses in Shanghai.
