Brazshipping Maritima Ltda, a member of the LBH Group, was founded in January 1991 in Vitoria, Brazil, by Joern Duus, Claudio Lysias and the Lagendijk brothers - Jan and Bert, the senior partners of the LBH Group. Our first activities commenced in Vitoria, providing agency services to shipowners, operators and charterers (exporters and importers) of dry bulk cargoes. As a result of the high quality services provided by our company, Brazshipping Maritima quickly consolidated its position for the global bulk shipping market. After overcoming the initial challenge, Brazshipping set course to get new customers based on following principles: ethics, transparency in information and high quality, aiming always to offer a superior and differentiated service, adding value to our customers activities. Brazshipping Maritima is today one of the most active shipping agencies in Brazil, operating in various Brazilian States / ports, concentrating its activities handling bulk materials, mainly iron ore, coal, coke, pig iron, fertilizers, grain and steel products. As a member of the LBH Group, we offer agency services to customers all over the world. Now, with its head office and thirteen branches, our Brazilian network dominates one of the richest markets of the world, forming a crucial link between Brazil and the international market. Nowadays, the company has two more partners, Ercole Talarico and Valter Porto and a reliable staff of about 100 persons entrusting in the future of this country and determined to follow the company's moto: "The world has no frontiers for us".
