Your money Your customers Your goods Your market You name the rest: Professional service is the name of our game BULGARIAN NATIONAL FORWARDERS ASSOCIATION (NSBS) The Bulgarian National Forwarders Association NSBS was founded in 1992. Presently its member companies perform 2/3 of the international freight forwarding services on the Bulgarian market. Membership in NSBS is granted only to financially stable forwarding companies which possess sufficient experience, proven professional competence and a clean record. All members transact their business in accordance with the STANDARD TRADING & WAREHOUSING CONDITIONS of NSBS which comprehensively define the obligations and liabilities of the parties to the forwarding contract. The professional liability of the Forwarder under said STANDARD TRADING CONDITIONS is insured with selected Underwriters to the benefit of his Customers. Therefore by choosing to deal with the forwarders-members of NSBS the Customer stands to gain a professional service of renown quality and protection of his interests. NSBS represents Bulgaria in the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations FIATA, which comprises some 40.000 forwarding companies employing over 8 million people in 146 countries. Through FIATA bodies NSBS participates in the activities of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport, the European Commission, the Economic Commission for Europe of the UN, the International Chamber of Commerce ICC and the international organizations in the field of transport (IRU, UIC, IATA, IMO). Only members of NSBS are authorized to issue in Bulgaria the ICC approved documents of FIATA - the Multimodal Transport Bill of Lading (FIATA FBL), the Forwarder s Certificate of Receipt (FIATA FCR), the FIATA Warehouse Receipt, etc. NSBS cooperates with the Bulgarian authorities in improving the legal base of the international transport and trade and in formulating the national transport policy.
