Amasus Shipping B.V. is established in 1981 and in December 1993 the present management took office. A team of specialists with solid experience in the shipping industry and with a maritime background see to it that Amasus Shipping B.V. functions well. Right now we handle approximately twenty vessels based on a relation of trust between the Owner and Amasus Shipping. We mainly deal with coasters of wich the major part are sea/river going vessels with a deadweight ranging from 850 to 6000 ton. The ships carry for instance: bulk goods, general cargo and containers and are mainly employded in the European continent, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. The transportation of goods over water is a specific line of business. There is more to it than just a well maintained vessel with the right crew. Even more important is a proper communication with the captain/owner, freightoffice, insurance broker, government authority, financial institutions and all other parties involved. Amasus Shipping B.V. makes sure that all communication goes perfectly, so that the products can be transported from A to B without any problems. In our company we have the dutch motto: de klant is koning which means that the customer rules and hence we offer a complete service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ACTIVITIES Handling sea-going and sea/river navigation vessels is the main business of Amasus Shipping B.V.. She also has an agency for the ports of Delfzijl, Eemshaven and Groningen. Amasus Shipping also can provide the crew on both private owners and shipping company vessels in various tonnages. Regarding many risks, insurances are very important. Contacts with and contracts from insurance compagnies also are handled by Amasus Shipping. SHIPBROKERS When the shipping trade and Owner of a cargo are searching for one another in the market, Amasus Shipping B.V. makes sure that both parties will find each other. We act as a mediator between them in such way that the shipping trade and Owner of cargo do business in the most profitable way. AGENCY Amasus Shipping B.V. takes care of all possible formalities for vessels arriving at ports of Delfzijl, Groningen and the Eemshaven, varying from tankers to bulk carriers. As an agent it is our complete responsibility and we see ourself as supplement of the shipping company. The Amasus Shipping agency department constantly keeps in touch with the progress and when a problem occurs, we inmediately try to provide an appropriate solution. CHARTERING Amasus Shipping B.V. has been a key player in the chartermarket for years now. We are specialised in the non-conditioned cargo and due to our experience we know how to find the right vessel for every cargo ranging from wood to steel and from salt to wheat. We look for favourably opportunities so that the ships are being used profitable in every possible way. CREWING For years and years Amasus Shipping B.V. has been occupying herself with the providing of the crew on vessels of private Owners as well as vessels of a Shipping company in various tonnages. Next to our regular customers we are also approached often by external parties to manage their crewing-business. Amasus Shipping offers everybody an optimal all-round service ranging from recruitment and selection of seamen to wages-administration.
