EEMSHAVEN / DELFZIJL Wm H. Muller & Co Nederland B.V. has an office at Eemshaven only 100 metres from the quay, so direct on the spot where operations take place. The Eemshaven is a commercial and industrial port complex managed by the Port Authority of Delfzijl / Eemshaven, situated Lat. 53' 27" N. and Long. 06' 50" E. The port of Eemshaven The harbour is accessible for vessels with a mean operational draft up to about 10,50 metres under normal HW conditions. Pilot vessel VHF channels 6 or 16. Distances in nautical miles: to Rotterdam 152, to Hamburg 146. There is a quay for handling general cargo with a length of 1150 metres, and along the Northern bank is a bulkquay with a length of 200 metres. Other facilities are: a ro/ro ramp; railway connections; shed space for general cargo, cold-store, bulk sugar and open storage area. Also a floating jetty for inland and coastal vessels and a shipyard with a dock for vessels up to 35000 gt. An other basin with a length of 600 metres and a breadth of 200 metres with heavy mooring dolphins with a swl of 160 - 300 tons and mooring buoys swl of 80 tons is very appropriate for lay-up operations. The port of Delfzijl The Muller office is also active in the port of Delfzijl. This harbour has a public quay of 570 metres and is accessible for vessels with a draft up to about 9 metres. Other facilities: floating jetty of 148 metres with a depth of 6.5 metres; two dry-docks for repairing and engineering works, railway connection; sheds for general cargo, cargo in bulk and an open storage area.
