LE HAVRE (Cherbourg, Saint Malo, Brest, Lorient, Nantes/Chevire, St. Nazaire, La Rochelle/La Pallice, Bordeaux, Bayonne) Founded in 1517 by King Francois 1, the port of Le Havre lies in the heart of the northwest European seaboard, on the right bank of the Seine estuary.
