Allship Verwaltungs- und BeteiligungsGmbH & Co. was established in 1983 to act as Ship Sale and Purchase (S&P) brokerage in Hamburg. The parent company, Verwaltungs- und BeteiligungsGmbH, was founded in 1965. After establishing the S&P desk at Germany's foremost owner-broker, Allship's founder Richard Mucke set out to establish a modern, fast-reacting and well-informed brokerage company under the name and style of Allship. Based on the concept of consistent and highly personalized service, Allship has prospered ever since and grown. Originally concentrating on the second-hand market for bulk carriers and multipurpose ships, Allship has since expanded its scope and expertise to include containerships, passenger vessels, ro-ro ships, fishing, offshore and research vessels as well as newbuilding contracts and ship sales for demolition. The company continues unabated in its quest to open new doors. Unlike many other local shipbrokers, Allship is fully independent, and the majority of its business is outside Germany, with clients operating in all corners of the globe. Thus, rather than focusing only on Germany, Allship is an international broker based in Hamburg. Not surprisingly, however, as locals begin to appreciate the new level of service, Allship has steadily captured significant German business, often against powerful or long-established connections. As independent brokers the main activities are the sale and purchase of all types of second hand- and newbuilding sea-going vessels. We are active on the Drycargo-, Container-, MPP-, Offshore- as well as on the Demolition market. We provide our clients with the needed support and helping guide lines are drawn out to their full attention. In order to offer useful, current information, Allship has continuously invested in the best computer systems available. The database, updated daily, holds Lloyd's maritime data on approximately 70000 vessels, giving fast access to an enormous amount of valuable information. From this base analytical valuations can be provided. This gives us the opportunity to keep our clients best informed and updated. As independent brokers the main activities are the sale and purchase of all types of second hand- and newbuilding sea-going vessels. Allship Verwaltungs - und BeteiligungsGmbH & Co.
