Bulk Cargoes: IRISL through ownership of its 45 bulk carriers from Panamax to Handy size with capacity of 2.2 million DWT is able to carry all kind of dry cargoes from grain, clean cargoes to iron ore, coal and other dirty consignments internationally. In line with new strategies of management, IRISL endeavor to carry all range of bulk products through its two departments, naming Regional Bulk Dept. responsible for export/import of cargoes to and from Persian Gulf for all kinds of Bulk Cargoes and International Bulk Dept. which is involved in carriage of all kinds of Bulk Commodities on cross trading basis and worldwide scale. IRISL also owns three clean product tankers, which are engaged in transport of vegetable oil and other products of similar nature. Break-Bulk and General Cargoes: FAR EAST and SOUTH EAST ASIA LINER SERVICES (PJL): 15 oceangoing vessels of modern General Cargo and Multipurpose Cargo ships with a capacity of 300 thousand DWT carry various general cargoes such as machinery, equipment, pipe, timber and steel products from East and South Asia to the Middle East and Persian Gulf ports. EUROPE, AFRICA and SOUTH AMERICA LINER SERVICE (PEL and PAL): A number of 14 oceangoing vessels with total capacity of 280 thousand DWT carry a variety of general projects and miscellaneous cargoes via 3 routes from Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean and Black Sea, Northern Europe and Scandinavian Ports, to East and West Africa and west coast of South America. Container Liner Services: FAR EAST WEEKLY SERVICES (PCL): 5 container vessels each with a carrying capacity of 3300 TEU, with a regular weekly sailing provide appropriate facilities and services to the cargo owners from Persian Gulf (Bandar Abbas and Dubai) to the main ports of East and South East Asia such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Pusan, Inchon, Kaohsiung, Kelang. This full container service is also supported by a dedicated feeder network for intra-asia operations. EUROPE WEEKLY SERVICES (ECL): 7 container vessels each 2500 TEU capacities with their regular weekly schedule from Persian Gulf (Bandar Abbas and Dubai) sail to the Mediterranean and European ports such as Naples, Felixtowe, Antwerp and Hamburg. Calling the Saudi Arabia and Libyan ports is also included in this route.
