It was 2500-ton ship "Saturn". Our company operates in all main East Baltic ports. Every year ASTRAMAR serves over than 800 vessels in the Riga port and more than 1500 vessels in all Latvian ports. The company has its departments in Ventspils, Liepaja, Salacgriva, Klaipeda and St. Petersburg. Besides, ASTRAMAR owns a share of a stevedore company "Piemare". ASTRAMAR dealing with all kinds of cargoes including General Cargoes, timber products, liquid cargoes and others. Now the company enlarges supplies of Russian timber and makes overland carriage possible to our customers. HOW DID SUCH A YOUNG COMPANY MANAGE IT? Our basic capital is young professional staff. We invest considerable sums in the development of the technical equipment of the company and in the development of ship transportation in Latvia.
