Headquartered in Western Australia, WaveMaster International is a leading designer, developer and builder of high performance aluminum ferries and other vessels for the world market. Formed in 1984, WaveMaster International is Western Australia's oldest-established builder of high-performance aluminum ships. The company has delivered over seventy vessels during the past eighteen years, to customers in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North Asia (including Japan), South Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. WaveMaster International's array of award-winning designs are recognised to deliver uncompromising performance, safety and reliability, to the most discriminating clientele. The Company's range of experience in high-speed construction is equal to or arguably greater than any other builder of fast aluminum vessels in the world. WaveMaster International has a powerful design team comprised of a diverse range of people with both practical and theoretical skills who ensure that our vessels meet the technical requirements of the marine departments and classification societies around the world, whilst also meeting the practical operational needs of the ferry or vessel operator. WaveMaster International's design team includes qualified naval architects, mechanical engineers (both degree qualified and seagoing), interior designers, commissioning masters and draftsman. WaveMaster International's services are not limited to new building, we also undertake repairs, major refits including re-engineering, lengthening, and upgrading to meet IMO-HSC requirements. Ship owners are now taking advantage of over 20 years experience in aluminium shipbuilding to refit and repair their existing vessels such as the $12 million refit of a luxury motor yacht completed in 1999. WaveMaster International has also completed a refit of a 45m catamaran for AG Ems. A tender for the refit was issued by AG Ems at the time of purchase in November 2000. WaveMaster International won the refit order against fierce competition from local yards, based largely on the Company's solid experience in major refit and construction of large vessels and it's detailed understanding of the stringent requirements of German marine authorities. WaveMaster International offers a repair facility either in our Henderson Yard or on-site at the operator's nominated wharf. Teams can be mobilised at short notice. No job too big or too small. Complete repair crews are available in the Fabrication, Fitout, Engineering, Protective Coatings, and Fire Protection areas. WaveMaster International's on-site teams have previously repaired and modified vessels in many regions throughout the world, in some of the harshest environments and conditions. We understand the importance of effecting a safe fast repair to minimise downtime. WaveMaster International's designers are familiar with major classification requirements and understand the importance of working closely with survey authorities. We have welders certified to all major classification societies. Our team has access to all aluminium extrusions, interior linings, engineering parts and machinery through the facilities at our shipyard. Personnel can usually be on site within 24 hours. WaveMaster International's in-house design team can assist in solving recurring problems if required. On-site analysis will formulate a solution to your problem.
