Havyard Eid AS is situated in Nordfjordeid. The distance to the nearest city Alesund is approx. 110 km, about 2 hours by car incl. 2 ferries. The nearest small airfield is Sandane Airport, about 1 hour drive away incl. 1 ferry. From Sandane Airport there are flight connections trough Bergen/ Stavanger/ Oslo to all corners of the earth. Havyard Eid AS, former Hellesoy Nordfjordeid AS produced in the past steel sections and hull for other shipyards. At present time the shipyard is building fishing vessels. The strategy for the shipyard in the future is to build small to medium sized vessels, and be sub-contractor to other shipyards of steel sections and hulls. The inhouse slipway have a length of 100 meter, with a beam of 20 meter. The height is 25 meter, with a crane capacity of 2x10t, 1x15t and 1x35t. At present time the shipyard is building fishing vessels. Havyard Eid AS
