Guang Yuan Communication & Navigation Company Ltd. (GCNC), is a joint venture of Guangzhou Ocean Shipping Company (COSCOGZ), Hoi-Toung Communication & Navigation Company Ltd. (Hong Kong) and Jason Electronic Private Ltd. (Singapore). The main services of GCNC are sales, installing, commission testing, maintaining and surveying communication, navigation, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation equipment for business and new building ships and provide technique support and service after sales. GCNC also can design, sales, install and repair the monitor system and alarm system for construction. The history of GCNC can retrace to 1971. During the past 30 more years, GCNC has developed to be the largest specialization communication, navigation and automation service company in the South of China. GCNC possesses more than 50 technicians, 1000 square meter office, 1200 square meter storehouse and a lot of advanced equipment for testing and measurement. GCNC has been keeping close connection with a lot of famous manufactures of communication and navigation equipment. Now it is the service agent of JRC, Tokimec, Yokogawa, Litton Marine, Raytheon-Anschutz, Kelvin Hughes, Anritsu, ATLAS, Racal-Dacca, Skanti, Furuno. GCNC is also the sale agent of Tokimec and Litton Marine. So GCNC can always keep up with the pace of new technology and has enough ability to suffice customer's requirement in GMDSS and other new equipment. Sine 1990, GCNC has successful supplied and installed several hundred sets of GMDSS onboard business ships for more than one hundred owners. GCNC has also successful installed, commissioned and survey the communication and navigation equipment for more than fifty new building ships for Wenchong shipyard, Guangzhou International shipyard, Huangpu shipyard, Guangzhou Yue Xin shipyard, Liuzhou Xijiang shipyard, etc. GCNC has received much praises for her good service and excellent technology. GCNC has obtained approval to carry out radio survey for annual renew of Safety Radio Certificate and ship born radio installation from ABS, GL, DNV, NK, RINA, BV, LR, INSB, KR and IRS, and approval for qualification of shore based maintenance for GMDSS from CCS. GCNC has also obtained approval for quality system certificate ISO9002 and for advanced and hi-technical enterprise by Guangzhou Bureau. GCNC has carried out the safety radio survey more than several hundred vessels and signed the GMDSS Shore-base Agreement with more than several hundred vessels.
