Shiprepair company DIESEL SERVICE was founded in 1993 on the base of the Workshop No.7 at the former Military Shipyard. Company staff consists of technical and financial managers, design engineer, 24 qualified workers and technical specialists. Our specialists attend skill-extension courses at the manufacturers on the regular basis. We are certified by MTU, RUSTON, Chris-Marine and also by Russian Register of Shipping. We perform repair works for the following diesel engines, turbochargers and other machinery DIESEL SERVICE performs repair works for the following equipment: Main and auxiliary engines, Pumps and turbochargers, Fuel injection appliances, Pipelines and valves, We are specialised in repair works for the following diesel engines: "MTU" (183, 396, 538, 1163), "RUSTON", "ZVEZDA", M-50. Upon Customer's request our specialist are able to perform repair works on board the vessel during her staying at the Port under cargo operations. We have special workshop, located not far from the Port; were all necessary machine-tools for lathe, boring, milling, drilling, slotting and grinding works are available. Among special equipment for diesel engines repair we have following appliances: boring device for cylinder block (210 - 950 mm) landing collars (photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4); device for valve saddle treatment (photo 1); device for valve treatment; appliance for cylinder liner honing (photo 1, photo 2); test bench for testing fuel injection appliances 30 kWt; test bench for diesel engines trial upto 1000 kWt; appliance for crankshaft journals (200- 215 and 300- 315 mm) treatment inside crankcase without shaft removal.
