Marine Service Partners is a new American subsidiary of Alstom Inc which is the holding of Chantiers de l'Atlantique. MSP was born in March 1999 to serve the ship owners. After 10 years of Presence of an Alstom office - Chantiers de l'Atlantique wished to develop a more independent entity which caters to after-sales services for the cruise line industry. So that, they decided to set up : MSP. Today, Alstom hold 80% and Avest 20% of MSP 's shares. MSP is focusing on two main activities: Marine Spare Parts Sales Engineering and Technical Services Marine Spare Parts Sales: MSP was also established to be the American show case for the European marine equipment manufacturers whose know-how and experience are recognized by all the cruise lines. MSP goal is to: Promote and distribute most of the French marine products and services : Electrical, Hotel Equipment, Lighting, Mechanical Better communicate and meet the cruise lines needs Today MSP activity is focusing on Marine Spare Parts sales for two reasons: We have access to the extensive database of Chantiers de l'Atlantique. We are capable of offering products and services of comparable quality We beneficiate from the Buying Power of Alstom Group -Chantiers de l'Atlantique . Therefore on some specific products we can offer the most competitive prices. Engineering and Technical Services Naval architecture MSP, in partnership with Stirling International Design, a French design company, is able to create new design from exterior line to interior design. Engineering and Technical Services MSP team is also managing engineering and technical projects such as jobs during dry-dock.
