For young people, who choose marine profession there are different educational ways. - Marine Academy - deck officers - 6 years and engeneers - 5 years. After 4 years of studies they are getting Bachelour's diploma and then, after seagoing practice - working diploma of Specialist. - Marine colleges - 4 years - working diploma of Specialist. - Marine special schools - for ratings. - Marine cooks colleges and special education for stewards, barmens and other passender vessels' personnel. It is neccessary for young specialists to have more practice on the vessels. That is why we can offer you to engage them for rating positions as cadets with very small salaries and follwing promotion perspectives aboard your vessels. You can grow your onw specialists for specific vessels in your company for the future. Before the voyage every seaman passes special pre-voyage training course in our own classroom. Officers - attending course of ISM code, get acquainted with company's policy, passing CES-3000 tests in English language, as well as latest analysises of marine accidents. Ratings - special English language courses, which include professional training. Repairs can be effected during the voyage. Skilled staff for passenger vessels can also be arranged. We can form a complete or partial crew in accordance with the shipowner s requirements, or find crew members for individual contracts. Our selection process is very through. We check applicants carefully to ensure their competence, experience, fitness and knowledge of English. All necessary papers for seamen are issued in accordance with the latest IMO and STCW requirements. Entry visas for any country in the world can be arranged in 1-2 days by our agent in Kiev. We also have branch-partners in different Black sea ports, as well as in Russia, Georgia and Estonia. We can offer an agency service in any Black Sea port and arrange repairs by local workers during cargo operations. Our agency provides its services in accordance with ISO 9002 regulations (ISO Certificate # 98.041.026 dated 21 October 1998, prolonged AA N?149256 dated 18 december 2002) and our seamen also have all international certificates in accordance with the requirements of STCW 95. A comprehensive training (6 years at the Odessa State Marine Academy for officers, 2-3 years at marine Colleges for ratings) produces specialists suitable for all types of vessels.
