BRAVE MARITIME CORPORATION INC. BRAVE MARITIME CORPORATION INC. was established in 1987 after the prolonged crisis of the 80 s. The Company started its operations with conservative and cautious moves. The fleet then was composed of 5-6 handy size bulk carriers, which the management bought for the low risk, and steady income that those types of vessels provide. Today, nearly 15 years after BRAVE MARITIME CORPORATION INC. commenced its operations, it operates a fleet of Handymaxes Panamaxes Capesizes and remained committed to expanding and renewing it s fleet especially on the larger sizes. Brave Maritime Corporation Inc. has long lasting relationships with first class charterers like: COECLERICI CARGILL INTERMARE AWB HMM HANJIN ISPAT TRADIGRAIN DREUFUS and others. In addition, lately the company has been a loyal capesize operator and currently operates 5 such units. Brave Maritime Corporation Inc. has been involved in contracts as well. In 2002 it served contracts in excess of 1 million tons and in 2003 the annual total has reached 2 million tons of different cargos. Brave Maritime Corporation Inc. has become one of the most committed operators of dry tonnage in Greece and is committed to retain it s status combined with the renewal of it s diversified fleet.
