Having already gained an excellent reputation in the market, our energetic, well educated, trained and dynamic staff will do their utmost to fulfill any other Owners requirements such as arranging visas, booking air tickets, etc. Recognizing the importance of the STCW Code as a basis for selection seamen for foreign principals we have established close and fruitful relations with the Seafarer's Training and Certifying Centre (TCCS),located in Odessa, approved and verified by Det Norske Veritas (www.tccs.odessa.ua). The training programs of the TCCS appropriate mandatory requirements of the STCW'95 and are based on the IMO model courses. The Company's crew selections are made according to well defined Safety & Quality oriented procedures. Assignments are based on the mandatory qualifications, as required by the SCTW Convention, the national Ship Registry and with due consideration to each vessel's requirements. Several factors are taken into account including the seaman's background, academic and marine experience, specialized training. The recruitment process includes a thorough check of candidate's experience and qualification. Once accepted, a system of pre-joining briefing is used in order to familiarize and ensure crew members are well conversant with the Shipowners policy and requirements, flag state requirements and the specific goals on each ship. During this briefing, staff are also given an additional introduction to the Company's quality assurance systems, well informed about all the terms and conditions of the individual Contract of Employment (COE).
