Crew manning agency. The Continent Ltd. is licensed by the Ukrainian government in part of crew recruitment onboard foreign vessels. We provide well-experienced, duly certified as per STCW95 Ukrainian seamen for all major types of merchant and offshore vessels, including: BULK CARRIERS MPP/CONTAINER SHIPS OIL AND CHEMICAL TANKERS AHTS RO-RO/RO-LO LPG The ship repair personnel (welders, fitters, turners etc) are available for employment onboard either at sea or in the drydock. As a rule, our pre-employment procedure includes: 1. Interview by the Captain or by the Chief engineer - depending on applicants rank) 2. Computer test for professional fitness 3. English language test (interview + computer based) 4. Check of originality/validity STCW certificates/diplomas and endorsement via issuing authority 5. Check of the references with previous manning agent/employer and/or crew members 6. Medical examination / drug-alcohol tests in high-end marine medical center Once the seaman has been approved for hiring by the owners/managers, our company gives assistance in getting necessary entry Visas, local transportation, selection of suitable flight and its reservation if necessary. When submiting your crew order please provide us with particulars of the vessel, machinery, trade area, nationality of other crew members onboard, salary scale and a copy of crew employment contract. Sale & Purchase Department is established to assist you in your S&P needs and maintains up-to-date information on various merchant, passenger vessels, floating docks and workshops, which are available for sale world-wide. Upon your firm request our S&P team will propose you a number of vessels which meet your criteria, will arrange inspection and will keep in touch with you until the delivery of the vessels.
