Eimskip Norway AS - About us EIMSKIP Norway AS is an transportation company offering total transport solutions with special attention on fish products and temperature controlled cargo. Eimskip has opened an office in Fredrikstad in Norway. This office will be the main office for Eimskip Norway A/S which now operates three offices in Norway. In addition to the office in Fredrikstad Eimskip has offices in Tromso and Aalesund. Eimskip opened an office in Tromso in Norway in 1996. At the beginning of 1999 Eimskip took over Giske Shipping in Aalesund and last fall formed a joint venture operation in Aalesund with Wilhelmsen Agencies AS under the name Aalesund Shipping Agencies AS. With the opening of the Fredrikstad office Eimskip`s operations in Norway will be joined under the name Eimskip Norway A/S apart from Aalesund Shipping Agencies. Eimskip also owns half of the shipping line ECL (Euro Container Line) with Wilson Eurocarrier. Eimskip Norway AS will provide services for its customers%u2019 various transportation needs. Eimskip Norway in Aalesund will handle transport to the Far East, South America and Canada. Eimskip`s freezer and reefer vessels sail to Tromso as usual and from there sail to Iceland, North America, Spain, Portugal and France. By opening its own office in this area Eimskip aims to coordinate its sales and marketing efforts in Norway as well as providing its customers with even better service in the future.
