Established in 1995, MPS is one of the oldest agencies, dealing with job placement of Ukrainian seamen. For the years of crewing business with shipping companies all round the world, MPS has gained essential experience and large database of highly skilled seamen. Marine Pro Service was founded in 1996 and was fully licensed by Ukrainian Government for crewing. We are considered to be one of the biggest crew manning companies in Ukraine. In 1998, we succesfully passed certification by Bureau Veritas for ISO-9002: CERTIFICATION OF APPROVAL in CREW RECRUITMENT FOR SHIPPING AGENCIES. No. 51626 ( 23. October, 1998 ) OUR POSSIBILITIES To meet the requirements of the Principals, MPS supplies qualified and competent ship's staff and puts great attention on screening and selection of seafarers. Presently, we have a very big database of officers/ ratings. Many of them were recruited via MPS to a number of well known shipping companies. Our staff - marine captains/ engineers and officers with solid sea service and ship management experience - is at your service. We can arrange total crews or individual seafarers. We can obtaine for our seafarers transit entry visas and all travel arrangement. A policy of selective rehire, together with continuous upgrade training and performance appraisal, guarantees quality manpower, proficiency and safety on board. MPS has 3 branches in the big Ukrainian sea-ports such as Odessa, Kherson and Nikolaev which permit us to find a proper officer / rating quickly and organize all the necessary contract arrangements. We do not charge any payment for our service from the seafarers, - just payments between the agencies. MPS services are flexible and competitive and cover the complete spectrum of human resource management for the shipowner. MPS provides complete paperwork, as well. OUR SEA PERSONNEL Our officers and ratings are recruited on the basis of their competency, professional skill, command of English and statement of the previous service. Most of them leave in Odessa and Izmail. If you manage some of the passenger vessels, we can easily arrange to put such crew members into MPS database. Also, we have fully ready for job repair team consisting of ch.engineer/ 3 engineer/ 2 welders. Repair team provides full set of job needed for the specific tasks. We have welders team experienced in hull/ pipes welding/ turning/ fitting at the shipyard in Linz/ Austria. Furthermore, we have available navigators experienced in Danube - Main - Rhein river system navigating. They possess German patents for such navigation. Maybe, there is internal waters fleet under your management so we can supply crew for the river vessels as well.
