Off shore cargo transshipment Advantages to Clients - As the approaching channel to the ports of Nikolaev area is limited in ship's maximum draft by 9.8 m FW, and the port of Kherson by 7.6 m FW, it is worthwhile and cost-effective to lighten of top-up the cargo prior to entering these ports or on outbound passage from them. - We do so at the entrance to the channel (Ochakov Anchorage) by our own 16-mt lifting capacity floating cranes with the use of river-going self-propelled barges. - Any vessel, irrespective of the cargo quantity to be lightered / topped-up, is attended by one or two of our port captains, former deep-sea masters, having a vast experience in these particular off-shore transshipments. - Our crane crews have been trained to the highest professional standards, the cranes are well-maintained and equipped for operation under open-sea conditions. - Our head office acts as a logistical and coordinating centre, keeping all fleet movements under strict round-the-clock control, which allows us to handle the operations in the most economical and speedy way.
