The maritime agency "Rusmarine" began working as an agent of the straight operator "Maras Line" in 1991. By that time "Maras Line" had opened the regular containers line connecting St. Petersburg with the largest ports of the north Europe. Besides straightforward operating "Rusmarine" worked as a port agent in the Maritime Trade Port of St. Petersburg. In 1993 "Rusmarine" started working at the moorings of the "Severnaya Verf LTD" and became an independent operator of the terminal. In the long run it allows the company to deliver the merchandise in a timely manner and at competitive prices. Cooperating with the "Maras Line's" partners, "Rusmarine" became also an agent of the English shipping company P&O Containers. It provided services to their clients and delivered cargoes to almost every place in the world. In 1996 "Rusmarine" opened another office in Moscow. In 1997 the company changed its structure and formed a new branch. "Ruscont" started working as an agent of the global English-Holland Trucker (Hailer) P&O Nedlloyd, former P&O Containers. Another company within "Rusmarine" - "Rusmarine-Forwarding" was founded in 1998. It was founded to manage the terminal at the "Severnaja Verf LTD" and do business with the Baltic customs zone Warehouse, organized in 1998. Recently the company has not only survived the economy collapse of 1998 but also ensured its reputation as a reliable agent of "Maras Line" both in Saint Petersburg and in Moscow. In March 1999 it became an agent of the Japanese Hailer NYK line and in July 2000 - one of the leading European Short-sea carries OPDR-Hamburg. Our employees are highly qualified and experienced. Due to this fact the company operates successfully and is growing fast. Many of our employees worked in the former Ministry of Maritime Fleet and studied in the State Maritime Academy named after Makarov. Using regular service of "NYK Line" maritime agency Rusmarine Ltd. arranges delivery of cargo in containers under NYK Line Bills of lading to and from St.Petersburg on following directions (* direct ports).
