Company Profile - ProNav as ProNav AS, established late 1994, has rapidly grown to be one of Norway's leading importer / distributors of marine electronics. Our company is based in Egersund, on the south-west coast of Norway, close to the major North Sea fishing grounds and Stavanger, the "oil capital" of Norway. Our location provides the strategic benefits of being on the right spot to learn from our customers and the good international communications that are to be found close to the business centre of the oil industry. Through our agency agreements with internationally well known manufacturers we can offer a wide range of high performance and cost effective marine electronics to all types of commercial ships, fishing vessels and pleasure crafts. In 1998 ProNav moved in to a brand new sales and service centre. Here we hold a large stock of new products and spare parts. In addition our new service centre also contains a fully equipped training centre for our customers and service staff. Our market is mainly Norway and from 2002 our most important suppliers are; JRC (Japan Radio co.), Seiwa, SG Brown, AST (Applied Satellite Technology), ComNav, AC Marine, Leica, C-Map Through our agency agreements with internationally well known manufacturers we can offer a wide range of high performance and marine electronics.
