We know the World Market Transocean Liners (TOL), the tramp division of the group, is a shipowner in its own right with a fleet of modern bulk carriers, sophisticated multi-purpose tonnage and container vessels as well as other purpose-built ships such as cement tankers. TOL is committed to providing services to its clients to cover the entire shipping spectrum including sale and purchase and joint ventures. Chartering TOL is handling the complete charter requirements of its own tonnage along with those of their affiliated DAL Liner Services. TOL offers an experienced team attending to exclusive clients by dealing with all aspects of chartering, operating, bunkering, supervising, accounting and execution of freight contracts. Both our own and chartered tonnage are employed on short- or long-term contracts, voyage, time and/or bareboat charter basis. To ensure maximum utilisation of both our own vessels and those managed by us we arrange freight contracts, voyage and time charters all over the world. Joint Ventures TOL operates joint ventures by combining its shipping know-how with the cargo potential of established Charterers and Shippers. This effective combination enables us to develop tailor-made concepts thus providing a sound basis for optimised results that benefit both partners. Sale and purchase TOL is responsible for the sale and purchase requirements of a number of reputable shipowners. This negotiating and administrative experience is equally available to other parties.
