2002 JSC BMGS celebrated 50-year anniversary of its activity in the Baltic market. Over these decades BMGS became one of the largest among the construction and hydrotechnical engineering companies in Latvia. JSC BMGS was founded in 1993 as a legal successor of Baltmorgidrostroy Trust. Upon the establishment of independent Baltic States in the early 90 s Latvian economy was facing significant changes and in 1993 Baltmorgidrostroy was reformed into a closed JSC BMGS. Currently BMGS incorporates 2 divisions in the largest Latvian cities of Riga and Ventspils, 2 reinforced concrete plants, has its own technical fleet and equipment necessary for execution of construction works. Branches in Klaipeda (Lithuania), Tallinn (Estonia) and St. Petersburg (Russia) represent the Company in the neighbouring countries. Today JSC BMGS successfully rivals western construction firms, and good results in numerous international tenders can serve as a proof of its competitiveness in the market.
