Specifically, we strive to excel at transporting heavy and over-sized industrial cargo, safely and on schedule. We are committed to the continuous improvement in quality of our transportation services, vessel design, crewing and maintenance. - - - - JUMBO s fleet, submitted to a continuous renewal program, comprises 11 specialised heavy lift vessels. With their large unobstructed weatherdecks and box-shaped cargo holds, the vessels provide safe and economical means of transportation for heavy and over-dimensional cargo. All vessels are equipped with powerful lifting gear and anti-heeling systems enabling load and discharge operations independent from external lifting equipment. The rotating mastcranes provide large outreach in combination with extended lifting height. Being relatively small and shallow drafted, JUMBO ships are able to reach even the most remote areas and to discharge close to construction sites. An important segment of the heavy lift market is the power generation industry. JUMBO ships all sorts of power equipment such as gasturbines, generators and transformers. For the petrochemical industry we ship - amongst others - reactors, pressure vessels, LPG tanks, heatexchangers, coldboxes and steamdrums. - - - - - - - - - Also, JUMBO carries many other kinds of heavy and oversized cargo: For the off-shore industry for instance: reels, turrets, buoys, drilling rig sections, and spudcans. Material handling equipment such as: shipunloaders, pallet loaders, floating grabcranes, RTG's. But also modular structures for various types of plants, rolling stock like locomotives and an assortment of boats and craft like: catamarans, yachts, tugboats, navy vessels and SEWOP's. For JUMBO, transportation challenges do not always begin at the loading port or end at the discharge port.
