Maersk Logistics - Poland Since 1994 our goal has been to provide high quality, value added transportation and logistics services to companies that have seen the potential and opportunities for growth within the continuously expanding Polish market. An initial 750 sq.m. warehouse in Warsaw was replaced with a new warehouse of 7,000 sq.m. which in 2000 was again replaced with a 20,000 sq.m. state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution centre in Mszczonow - in the heart of the Polish 'logistics triangle'. The investment in this facility shows Maersk Logistics Polska Sp. zo.o. s dedication to providing our clients with second-to-none service and a means to facilitate efficient and effective distribution strategies throughout Eastern and Central Europe. Main services provided in Poland include: New Distribution Center with following brief features: Second-to-none customer service: the organization is based on dedicated and experienced staff and professionalism at all managerial and operational levels. The operation is built on a flat organization and a hands on management concept. Outstanding security. We provide all necessary safety measures such as: closed circuit cameras, 24 hours security provided by a third-party company, limited access of employees to allocated areas, gates equipped with magnetic cards and random inspections of employees. EDI and barcode labelling supported by our Warehouse Management System. WarehouseManagement System offers: - Reliable, real time information, available either via a secure link to our website or through electronic data transfer directly into our clients computer systems. - Accurate stock control, with regular reporting including agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI). - High flexibility and optimisation plus better visibility of stock levels & inventories through our IT platform. Domestic Distribution: To fully cover the Logistics Chain, Maersk Logistics Polska Sp. zo.o.offers reliable and fast delivery service, based on a vast network of long term subcontracted transport companies, with specialised trucks (e.g. with lifts) of all sizes. Our vehicles can pick-up your cargo from any platform or location within Poland, and arrange delivery to any destination as fast as you may require (from 48, 24 hours down to 12 hours). For local transports, pick-up and final delivery can be arranged within the same day. Our competent drivers are equipped with mobile phones to provide ongoing communication and to ensure visibility of the distribution pipeline and the tracing of consignments. Forwarding services: We can arrange for TIR transports covering all European countries via a network of partnerships. For containerised cargo, Maersk Logistics handles all LCL (Less Container Load) via Gdynia, and all FCL (Full Container Load) via 3 main ports (Rotterdam, Gdynia and Hamburg). Airfreight is handled mainly through Warsaw. Customs clearance and brokerage We provide full customs services including transfer and/or Final Customs Clearance as well as bonded transport and storage. We have a long-lasting relationship with Polish Customs officials, which allow us to provide smooth and prompt service.
