The main logistics services today include Customs clearance, transportation and delivery of cargo to our clients' premises. To further demonstrate our commitment in rendering qualitative services to the oil companies that accounts for more 60% of cargo into the Niger Delta Area of Port Harcourt, Maersk Nigeria have recently invested in a terminal company within the exclusive oil and gas free zone created by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Onne Oil and gas free zone located about 30 km from Port Harcourt, offers an easy way to do business for companies involved in the West Africa oil and gas industry. Ideally located in the heart of the Gulf of Guinea region, the Nigeria Government resolved to create an exclusive geographic zone that will allow cargo to be shipped into the zone (Nigeria) without payment of custom duty Hence, cargo in transit can conveniently be shipped into the zone without duty payment.
