The well fluids and the exported gas are transferred through a swivel stack in the turret, enabling the FPSO to freely weathervane around the geo stationary part of the turret under all conditions. The swivel stack include two 8 production, one 8 test, one 8 gas export, one 8 water injection, one electrical and one hydraulic swivel. Topside The crude oil is stabilised and de-watered in four stages. The first, second and third stage separators are three-phase separators, the fourth stage is a coalescer. The separation pressures have been optimised with respect to oil recovery and gas compression. The third stage separator operates at pressures ensuring that the crude is stabilised to the specified true vapour pressure. From the third stage separator the crude is pumped through the coalescer where the crude is de- watered to the specified BS&W and then into the temporary storage before export to shore by shuttle tanker. A test separator is provided for well tests. Produced water from the first and second stage and the test separator is de-oiled in hydrocyclones and de-gassed in a produced water flash drum prior to disposal overboard. The produced gas is compressed through a three-stage compression train, driven by a single gas turbine, for export into a pipeline system. The gas is dried to export specification between the second and third stage of the compressor by a TEG gas dehydration system. The produced oil and gas is metered to fiscal standards prior to export. Topside Topside Process facilities The facility is capable of exporting partially stabilised crude via pipeline or stabilised crude to cargo tanks for export via shuttle tanker. The import propane, butane and external power are transferred through a swivel stack in the turret, enabling the FGSO to freely weathervane around the geo stationary part of the turret under all conditions. The swivel stack includes one 4 propane, one 4 butane and one 11 kv electrical swivel. Topside Topside Process facilities The incoming segregated propane and butane streams are received at ambient temperatures (approximately +30 C). The compressed gas is then passed through chillers, using fully refrigerated propane (-42 C) as cooling medium. After chilling, the propane and butane are led to segregated tanks for storage. The chilling plant consists of three trains of which one is always spare. The refrigeration of the tanks is handled by five compressor sets using cascade cooling. The boil-off vapour is sucked from the cargo tanks, compressed and condensed, whereafter the condensate is led back to the bottom of the tanks. Of the five compressor sets at least one is always spare. The propane and butane are stored at fully refrigerated temperatures: 42 C and 5 C, respectively. Offloading can be done as either fully refrigerated or through a deck mounted heat exchanger capable of raising cargo temperature to plus 15 C. For the cargo heater ambient seawater is used as heating medium.
