Page 1 of 1           [Back to companies list]

International Offshore Marine Surveyors provide a full range of sail and powerboat services including; survey, supervision of repair, delivery, training and vessel management. Located in Victoria British Columbia on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada, our business is concentrated, here, but can be made available world wide. The principle surveyor is Brian H Beckett, a retired Captain and Accredited Marine Surveyor. With a working lifetime spent in ships large and small, and a further 10 years cruising offshore in a small sailboat, he has a profound knowledge of ship and small vessel construction, repair, and maintenance. Captain Beckett has been surveying since 1992, with operations in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the East Coast of the U.S. and on the west coast of Canada. He has received formal training in ship construction, maintenance and small vessel surveying. As a member of ABYC, the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, and IAMI he has an active interaction with others in the marine surveying field and is constantly updating his knowledge and skills. With a network of over 500 surveyors and others involved in sailing, power boating, deliveries and chartering, we have the unique ability to seek information on matters which may be new to us and to confirm our judgement with other marine professionals when we may not be entirely sure. Our rates are reasonable, our range of services extensive, and "going the extra mile" to achieve customer satisfaction is our normal mode of doing business. We invite you to look into the pages on the left for a more detailed description of the services provided.
