Europe West Indies Lines (E.W.L.): Continental Shipping Agencies is agent of the Europe West Indies Lines (EWL). EWL is a subsidiary of Wethold International BV. The Wethold International exists of a group of subsidiaries within the Shipping and Transport Industry, and a Rotterdam, Holland based headquarter. Within the last years EWL has expanded itself with more ships, capacity and number of destinations. EWL now holds up to 6 x 1000 TEU's ships and gives course to the following destinations : Europe: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, England, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland. Caribbean: Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Republic of Dominica, Guatemala, Honduras, Suriname, Trinidad and Venezuela. Birdsall, Jr. In 1962, Mr. Birdsall realized the developmental growth potential of Freeport, Grand Bahamas, and expanded his construction into that market. In July of 1982, Birdsall, Inc. was sold by the Birdsall family to Nicor, Inc., an Illinois based holding company involved in the utility industry. Nicor, Inc. is a Standard and Poor's 500 publicly held corporation and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol GAS.
