Today Unimars Group offers the following: Supplies for ships: technical; food; bonds; other services. a package of services related to the delivery of navigational charts and publications, incl. correction and tracking collections; checking and examination of survival equipment; maintenance, designing and installation of radio navigational equipment; freight forwarding and handling; commercial management; technical management and ISM; crew requirements; agent services; various types of ship repairs. In order to further develop our business as ship suppliers and perfect our range of services, we decided to establish the Unimars Marine Centre in Riga aiming at a synergy of our activities. It is a truly multifunctional complex, having no analogs in Europe . This building contains: a) infrastructure of the Unimars main business (a modern logistic facility with a warehouse, equipment, a station for checking survival equipment, numerous offices of both Unimars Holding, and the affiliated companies) and b) a ?recreation centre?, which is actually a Seamen?s Club, including a hotel, restaurant, bowling, sauna and solarium. Thus, clients of our companies and any other comers can stay in the hotel and, not leaving the centre, both rest here, and solve all the vital issues for servicing the ship in the shortest possible time. Having acquired invaluable experience in managing the Unimars Marine Centre, the Holding currently (through its affiliate company Unimarine) completed the construction of the marine business centre with a total area of 8.000 sq.m. This building which is located next to existing one, accommodate both the service companies belonging to the Unimars Holding along with many other independent companies which also offer marine services. There are several freight forwarders among these, agents for large sea container lines, BGI - the large crew staffing agency, the marine training centre (this project is being implemented by our Lithuanian partner - Novikontas) and many others. Therefore, the new premises is preserve the spirit of these companies which are linked with marine business and united under a common calling. After providing services to other ship-owners and accumulating invaluable experience and knowledge, we felt ready to manage our own fleet too.
