Main liners operators don't come to Cambodia. Most cargoes are fed to/from Singapore. The Phnom Penh International Airport, located 12 km from the centre of Phnom Penh offers regular flights to/from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, and Laos. Transportations on the Mekong River are also possible and principally used during rainy season between July and December. Transit time from Vung Tau estuary in Vietnam to Phnom Penh port is 3 to 4 days. Trucking from Thailand, is only possible for cargo originated from Thailand and bound to Cambodia. From the border to Phnom Penh the distance is 422 km. Phnom Penh, the capital in which population reaches over 1 million, is at the centre of all international trading. Siem Reap the second biggest town of the country is the hub for the tourism industrywith the Angkor Temple. First implemented in Phnom Penh, SDV Cambodia's main office has been completed by a second branch strategically settled in Sihanoukville where the only country's deep-sea port is located.
