This covers but not limited to ship agency, chartering and some trading operations, referred to the maritime business, including bank and insurance activity, concerning the transport operations. These services are focused on attending the passenger vessels traffic in Varna, Nessebar and all other Bulgarian sea ports, rendering skilled assistance by experienced staff. The cruise/passenger vessels will be berthed at Varna Passenger Terminal (Morska Gara), which is located 3 km far from the city downtown and 10 km far from the airport. There is a public transport nearby the terminal and taxi service as well. There is also a parking space for buses close to the shipside and very close to the berth tour/transfer buses pick up the passengers. There are no tidal restrictions (difference 30 cm) or any other restrictions with reference to the quay. Tugs inward/outward are compulsory, however if 2 propellers or bow thruster tugs, upon agreement between the Captain and the Pilot. It is advisable that the Vessel give ETA Notice to the Agent one day prior to arrival: A/ Confirming ETA Varna B/ Number of Pax/Crew C/ Vessel needs: Fresh water, Shipchandler etc. The requirements of the Harbour Master are to be considered as obligatory and a Must as they are conformed to the international practice, however the immigration authorities and the customs have their peculiar requirements to be obeyed by the crew and the passengers as well. Varna Port Control is working 24hrs, VHF channel 16/11, all other contacts are c/o Shipping Agency. All necessary papers and documents will be advised in due time as soon as you contact us. However please advise all at least 5 days prior to ship s call in the port. The tourist attendance will be coordinated by means of our cooperation and close relations with Bulgarian tour Operators.
