It is a terminal for the discharge of petroleum products. The ship must first call at Supe for entrance clearance takes about an hour- and in order to allow the pilot go on board. At the terminal, there are 3 mooring buoys; tankers lie to both anchors, a buoy on the port bow and one on each quarter. The depth is 26 . The maximum length for a ship is 650 and the size 23,000 tons. Discharge is by a 10 pipeline, which is 1,200 m. long. It is important to make sure that there is sufficient fresh water on board to flush the submarine line before unloading. After finishing at Paramonga, ships sail out direct, not calling at Supe again, and the pilot is taken off by a tug. It is a terminal for the discharge of petroleum products.
