Page 1 of 1 [Back to companies list]
Antwerp Distribution and Product Operations (ADPO) was founded in 1988. On the left bank of the river Scheldt in the Port of Antwerp an integrated chemical distribution complex of 15 ha was constructed. ADPO was the first company that combined all aspects of physical distribution for chemical and petrochemical products on one site. Late 1997, ADPO acquired the former ETHYL/TEXACO site in the Port of Ghent, covering 32 ha of land. Toll processing facilities, filling of small packaging and co-siting were added to the ADPO service offer. In 1999, AFC (transport and forwarding division of ADPO) was established in order to offer our customers the full supply chain concept. Late 2001, ADPO Antwerp expanded its existing infrastructure with 10 ha, with a highly automated terminal for the storage and handling of chemicals produced by CELANESE CHEMICALS.
