About Terramare Terramare Oy derives its origin from the different kind of private companies founded early 1950 most important Vesi-Pekka Oy and Pohjanvahvistus Oy being the pioneer companies in dredging and foundation construction in Finland. Today Terramare is a market leader in Finland regarding the marine construction including the dredging of waterways, underwater drilling and blasting and the construction of harbours. With our modern piling equipment we are supporting our marine activities and we are able to execute different kind of foundation works meeting the clients requirements. Also the special civil works like bridges and the foundation works with the requirements of technical complexity are belonging to our core business. The group of Terramare includes also the companies Boskalis Nordic Oy and Terramare Eesti OU. Boskalis Nordic Oy owns our versatile fleet consisting more than 30 different floating vessels and numerous land base equipment. Boskalis Nordic Oy is also responsible of maintaining and overhauling the equipment. Most of our plants have been designed and constructed with our own know how and recources. Terramare Eesti Ou founded in 1996 has executed several dredging and harbour projects being one of the specialised marine contractor in Estonia. Together with our sister company in Sweden (Boskalis Sweden Ab) we are able to serve to our customers different kind of marine activities including the full range of products in the field of marine construction. Our accumulated know how and experience combined with our versatile fleet and highly skilled personnel guarantee to our clients a professional completion of the project on the agreed date. Bureau Veritas Quality International has awarded to Terramare a Certificate of Approval conforming that the Quality Management System of the company is in accordance with the requirements of Quality Standard of ISO 9001:2000.
