CAIM is an International British Admiralty Chart Agent and sole agents for RINA publications (Registro Italiano Navale) We are leaders in Italy as far as charts, publications and nautical instruments are concerned. Moreover we deal in nautical signage, which we also produce, and ship's bridge safety equipment.. CAIM's staff is highly qualified and continually updated by means of in-house training sessions. CAIM is a ISO 2001-2000 certified company. CAIM operates in 3 main sectors: Outfit Management Safety signage Charts and publications. Our core business is Automatic Outfit Management which is a system of supplying vessels directly with all the new editions of publications, charts and Notices to Mariners along with transparencies. This is possible through the use of sophisticated software KM CAIM (Knowledge Management Caim), by which we run an exclusive Customer Management System to ensure that all the material on board is always up to date thus saving precious time not only for Ship owner's and vessel managers but also for the crew itself. ChartCo Agent Data broadcast for the correction of nautical charts ChartCo broadcasts navigation and associated data to vessels world-wide using the Inmarsat point to multi-point service. The services are on subscription and the cost of the satellite broadcast is included in the subscription. Services: BA Notices to Mariners complete with tracings and colour blocks. Correction Service for US Charts from NIMA. Weather forecasting: The MetManager TM service provides a synoptic forecast of surface pressure, wind, wave and swell data which is broadcast daily.
