SBS is a privately owned British company specialising in providing quality freight management solutions.Since the commencement of trading in 1983, our company has established five facilities in the UK and two in the USA. History 1983 - S Black Shipping commenced trading, operating Eastbound ocean freight consolidations from New York. 1990 - Opened Air Freight Division at London Heathrow. 1994 - Manchester office opened due to strong sales presence and customer demand in the North of England. 1997 - Opened Courier Division handling small packages from London Heathrow. 1998 - Corporate name changed to SBS Worldwide Ltd to reflect our diverse services, whilst retaining our heritage. 1998 - Established Courier office at prestigious London Underwriting Centre in City of London. 1998 - Our first USA office SBS Boston was opened. 1998 - Acquired our partner of 12 years in Chicago, Export Transports Inc. We have an operation of 40 staff and a 50,000 sq ft office/warehouse. 2000 - SBS purchased Teamwork's USA trade lane to further enhance their market share. We employ 165 staff within our seven facilities in the UK and USA and have developed into a total logistics provider.
