At present PRISCO is a Corporation consisting of several shipping companies 100% owned by PRISCO, as well as subsidiaries established with full or partial participation of the Company. 16 tankers make up Russian (domestic) fleet of PRISCO. 27 tankers is a fleet of internationally registered subsidiaries ultimately owned by PRISCO Tanker Limited, a holding company of Primorsk Shipping Corporation. Strategic and tactic issues connected with the operation of all fleet are settled by PRISCO management. Operation of the domestic fleet is exercised from the PRISCO head office, located in Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, while the international fleet is managed by PRISCO (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. wholly owned by PRISCO. As of January 1, 2003, PRISCO fleet consisted of 43 tankers, including 2 tankers on bareboat charter. It has an average age of 15.1 years, while the average age of PRISCO fleet participating in international trades is 13.1 years, and 18,6 years for the Russian-flagged fleet engaged in domestic trades. As of July 1, 2003, the fleet's deadweight totaled to 785 277 tons. PRISCO currently owns and operates a fleet of vessels of different type that can perform different tasks. These are modern tankers of large DWT, their technical condition corresponding to the highest international standards, as well as the tankers of smaller DWT constructed 15-25 years ago which are used for domestic trades only. In 1997, the company and its tanker fleet were certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and Det Norske Veritas to be in compliance with the requirements of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. All PRISCO tankers have obtained their relevant certificates. PRISCO Training Center is one of the few maritime educational establishments in Russia officially registered with IMO and listed in the IMO Compendium of Maritime Training Institutes. PRISCO Maritime Training Center offers training, retraining and upgrading courses in many aspects of seamanship for its own personnel as well as for personnel of other shipping companies registered in the port of Nakhodka. Crewing services are provided by the PRISCO personnel department which is engaged in crew training and recruitment of seafarers for foreign shipping companies.
