BRIEF INTRODUCTION Zhuhai Harbor Industrial Zone is located of the western of Zhuhai city in Guangdong province. It is one of the key open-zones of the province, covering 70 square kilometers. The Gaolan Harbor inside the Zone is a major Class One national coastal hub ports designated by Ministry of Communication, with space for over 100 berth varying from 10,000 to 250,000 tons capacity. The designed annual throughput is more than 150 million tons while the tonnage of year 2001 was near 10 million tons. The Zone possesses unique geographical location and attractive investment environment, making it the focus of attention for domestic and foreign investors. Among the operating enterprises, three are World 500 by Fortune magazine (BP,Iwantani&PetroChina ), two are selected as the Mega 50 by the State Council of China (Shenghua Energy and China Maritime Shipping) and two are prized as the Giant 50 in Guangdong province (Zhuhai Power Plant and Zhuhai Jovo-ARCO Energy Co,Ltd). Our goal: to accelerate the growth of petrochemical industry and the development of the transportation industry supported by harbor, to create a successful chemical industry base and logistic center in Southern China.
