TransWeco was established in 1988 with the ambition to become a complete broker for transportations worldwide. As a traditional liner agent we aim at offering high quality liner service in conjunction with personalized transportations out of the ordinary trades. Our experience in the fields of liner service, freight agency, chartering, project cargo combined with our sound economic solutions is the foundation of our business. Today we are pleased to conclude that our philosophy has proven successful. This has resulted in a growing number of clients. We are today an expanding company with growing revenues, making further investments possible and consolidating our position in the industry. Liner service From the very start we represented a number of attractive European shipping lines. Despite offering highly competitive alternatives these lines were quite unknown to the the Swedish market. Over the years we have made great efforts in promoting these agencies. Furthermore we have concluded several new agency agreements with first class shipping lines, serving most parts of the world with reliable and scheduled liner services. Freight agency Previous experience had shown the need of a freight broker with solid knowledge of shipping and who knew how to make the best use of the means at his disposal. This has made our freight agency to a corner-stone of our enterprise. Clients are not always able to distinguish the right shipping concept. We listen to the client's wishes and needs and from there we negotiate with shipowners and brokers across the world in order to find a customized solution. Our brokers are well familiar with the most effective solutions for transportations and they are ready to service us in a constantly changeable environment. They also know where and how to find the most competitive shipping alternatives. There are many brokers but only one "Freightbroker". Project cargo Project transports and coordination are two of our specialities. Clients, who wish to ship and assemble the transport of large, heavy pieces from multiple origins, can safely turn to us. We possess many years of experience and have great knowledge of project transportation. If the client wants us to be in charge of control and surveillance when loading, discharging as well as during inland transportation, we arrange to have people on location. Chartering and clearance Many years of experience in shipping also give us the possibility to offer safe and professional chartering and clearance services. We can offer shipowners, shippers, consignees and forwarders all the necessary service that is associated with loading, discharging, clearance, crew-exchange, repair, supply, on/offhire etc. One of our specialities is barge transportation of bulk and project cargo.
