Seafreight TransSped provides an assortment of containers to move your cargo in the most efficient manner, e.g. 20ft, 40ft, 40ft high cube, open top. For consignments that are less than a full container load we are able to offer the benefits of consolidated cargo services between most of the major industrial centers of the world. These services are provided worldwide for any commodity you may be shipping. Sea/air movements can be offered for shipments that are more time sensitive. TransSped offers Door to Door transportation, as well as breaking down containers in our bonded facility for distribution. To address the full spectrum of our clients transportations needs TransSped offers a variety of value-added services. We help you overcome the complexities that are often associated with customs clearances, "Letter of Credits" and hazardous cargo, among other things. Warehousing/handling With our bonded warehouse of 4200 sq.m., situated in the same building as our office, we can offer long term, as well as, short term storage. TransSped offers a variety of warehousing services including: Container strip/stuff Pallet breakdowns Pick and Pack Storage and general distribution of goods to any destination. Hazardous, perishable, temperature-sensitive and fragile cargo can all be packed professionally to ensure that your goods get the best protection possible. TransSped can arrange for a full goods securing and packing service in compliance with statutory regulations. Background TransSped is a privately owned company formed in January 1967 with head office based in Gothenburg. Initially TransSped specialized in export movements worldwide and warehousing. In the year 1991 ForStaven AB became the major owner of TransSped and with this TransSped became sister company with TransWeco AB, TransWeco Agency AB, 7Cs - Seven Seas Shipping AB and Joship. In 1998 TransSped moved to the new larger premises, offering a 4200 sq.m. bonded warehouse. As of 1st of January 2001 TransSped acquired TransWeco Syd AB and by this the company is able to supply a more complete service on the import side.
