Lehmann Nordic A/S is the parent company of the Lehmann Nordic Group consisting of a number of liner agencies as well as other transport related companies in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Belgium. The head office is situated in central Copenhagen, the biggest city in the Nordic region and internationally recognised as one of the worlds shipping and transportation centres. History In 1900 late Consul General Paul Lehmann founded the company. Initially, the main activity was freight forwarding, but already at an early stage the company started acting as agents in Denmark for a number of international shipping lines. The founder's nephew, late Henrik Lehmann, who was made a partner in 1938, over the next decades diversified the Group into all aspects of liner agency and transportation. The Lehmann Nordic Group currently undergoes a focused development, geographically in the Nordic region as well as business-wise in terms of its selected activities, i.e. liner agencies and transport related services.
