Jiangmen International Container Terminals Jiangmen International Container Terminals (JMCT) lies on the Xijiang River in the midwestern area of the Pearl River Delta, close to the Jiangmen High and New Technology Development Zone, 99 nautical miles from Hong Kong. As the principal city for an entire industrial region, Jiangmen has extensive road and bridge connections to the entire western side of the Pearl River Delta. It is the leading distribution centre for this region. The city is also well-known as an important location for the manufacture of home electrical appliances. It is also home to two important container manufacturing plants. JMCT has been in operation since 1995. JMCT has 10 warehouses with a total area of 10,000 sq. meters. Half are over 1,500 sq. meters in size. One of them is approved as a Customs Export Supervised Warehouse. In addition, JMCT is capable of handling reefer and dangerous cargo. On-site Customs and joint inspection services are provided. The facility also offers local vessel and cargo agency to customers.
